iGear controller
The iGear controller commands either a single lighting fixture or multiple lighting fixtures. Our lighting products therefore offer amazing versatility of light color and layout, which also satisfies real time video requirements.

More importantly, program changes are under control via a professional control system, which ensures that you can control the display as a magician would at the wave of his magic wand. As opposed to the traditional DMX controllers, which have 512 channels only, the iGear controller can control more than 8192 LED lighting dots. In addition, through its cascade capability, it can control an unlimited number of lighting dots, whether applied in small areas or for large-scale lighting performances. It is not necessary to set up the ID for each light dot, hence saving a lot of time and minimizing risks of mistakes. Integrated with the iMapper software, the ID can be directly fixed and the lighting programs can be saved in CF cards or transmitted by computer. All the data can be correctly distributed to each light dot thanks to the large memory capacity of iGear controllers and MPU.

iMapper software

OPTOTECH’s iMapper is a user friendly software which integrates sources from media and hardware controller to simulate lighting shows by pixel mapping.

The functionlity of iMapper

PIXEL MAP  • Mapping the video stream to the gird.
 • Setting up lighting ID and sequences.
 • Transferring pixels to iGear controller so that users can play scheduled programs online.
 • It has been granted U.S. patent (US 7,075,992 B2)
 • Product advantages:
   1.Using the regular rectangular media image.
   2.Could be applied to irregular lighting system, such as buildings sphere, etc.
PROGRAMMING  • Insert video or images and arrange sequences of video and images.
 • Monitoring the simulation results.
 • Export lighting shows in compact flash files (*.cff) and play them offline.
CONTROLLING Users can adjust brightness and white balance or select test pattern on iMapper software.
